Stir Fry Spinach With Fish Sauce




Simple stir fry vegetable for porridge or plain rice.

Ingredients


600 gm spinach
1/2 tbsp garlic - chopped
2 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp cooking wine
a dash of pepper
2 tbsp oil

  1. Wash spinach to remove soil/sand. Pluck the leaves and stems. Discard the yellow leaves and roots. Wash and drain off water on colander.
  2. Heat oil to saute garlic till fragrant, add in spinach, fry till limp. Add in fish sauce and cooking wine. Stir to combine and dish out to serve.
Notes:
  • can add wolfberries 'kei chee' if preferred
  • garlic can be chopped, sliced or keep whole [more cloves of garlic if keep whole - fry till brown]
