This
dish is a continuation of my previous post on Steamed Fish with Mei Cai.
It
is an easy and simple vegetable dish to prepare yet it looks good on the dinner
table.
Ingredients
300
gm kalian – cleaned and cut into 1-2 inch lengths
Some
chopped garlic
1
tbsp cooking oil
Some
shredded carrots
Some minced meat mei cai sauce [visit here for the recipe]
- Heat up wok, add in oil and chopped garlic. Fry until fragrant, then add in kalian together with the carrots. Stir fry till cook and season with some salt. Dish up on serving platter.
- Using the same wok, reheat pre-cooked mei cai minced meat sauce, dish up on top of fried kalian.
- Serve immediately.

Kimmy, how nice that the mei cai sauce can also be used for vegetables. Makes everything so tasty!
