Hi Kimmy,

I like your idea of adding lemongrass in this tomato chicken dish. It must be extra fragrant with this addition :D

Btw, regarding your ji dan gao question... I'm surprised to hear that because my cakes didn't shrink much after baking and in fact, I find baking this recipe so much easier than baking ogura cake. How about baking yours slightly longer and see if they are more stable with lesser liquid content?

Hi Kimmy,

Just realised that Jessie has a lot of troubles baking her ji dan guo and finally made it. This is her post, http://jessie-cookingmoments.blogspot.com.au/2014/05/the-very-chiffony-matcha-cocoa.html

Hope that it helps.

Hi Joyce, it is very appetising with rice - sweet sourish and aromatic.

Hi Zoe, I'll try the Baked Ji Dan Gao again. Taste wise is good but texture not as soft and moist as Ogura. Thanks.

Hi Kimmy, Love this home cooked chicken dish. So delicious with the lemon grass added. More rice please! :)

Hi Ann, I love to prepare this kind of flavoursome dishes then I didn't have to cook other dishes. Just one meat and vegetable dish with rice makes a complete meal for the family.

Hi Kimmy! I definitely will love this dish because of the lemongrass and sweet and sour taste.

Hi Phong Hong, adding lemongrass is like adding another aroma to the dish.
