A simple pattie recipe
that is easy to concoct with only 2 main ingredients, some aromatics and
seasoning. It’s so easy and yet I get to
enjoy some soft and moist patties which are light, tasty and healthy.
Recipe adapted from Yum
Yum Magazine No. 103 with modifications
Ingredients
300 gm minced meat [you can use 50:50 minced meat and fish paste]
½ block tofu
2 tbsp diced carrots
1 stalk spring onions –
diced
Seasoning
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp 5 spice powder
1 tbsp each cornstarch and
plain flour
- Cut tofu into quarters and leave in a colander to drain off excess water, then add to the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix well all the ingredients into a paste.
- Form the minced meat and tofu mixture into meatballs.
- Put the meatballs into a heated pan, press lightly to flatten them.. Pan fry until golden brown on both sides.
