Home Style Steamed Fish - Red Snapper

Steamed Fish with Tofu Before Steaming
 Ingredients
1 red snapper [about 500 gm] - season with a little salt
1 piece tofu - cut into 8 pieces
1 dried mushroom - soaked and cut wide shreds
2 cm ginger - cut shreds
2 cloves garlic - sliced
1 mustard leave - washed and cut shreds
1 red chilli - cut shreds
seasoning - 1 tsp each of light soy sauce and sesame oil              

  1.  Place cleaned fish on steaming plate, top up with mushrooms, mustard leaves, ginger, garlic and chilli. Then place tofu pieces on the sides.  Add in seasoning.  Ready to be steamed.  Can prepare ahead and steam before meal time.
  2. Steam fish in boiling water on high heat for 15 minutes.  Remove and garnish with cut spring onions/coriander leaves and garlic crisps.  Serve immediately.
