I enjoyed it very much.kimmyhttp://www.kimmy-cookingpleasure.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7417345481024282743.post-41986991334343809112012-07-04T17:18:13.238+08:002012-07-04T17:18:13.238+08:00Hi, I'm visiting through Aspiring Bakers. Some 'tong sui' stalls use these beans to cook the so called 'ang tau th'ng' but actually it is brown beans. In chinese [hokkien] it is called 'chea tau'. I got it from our local supermarket chain. Costs RM5.50/kg. I prefer brown beans to red beans because of its colour and texture.Kimmyhttp://www.kimmy-cookingpleasure.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7417345481024282743.post-49639417929292363372012-06-05T13:53:44.211+08:002012-06-05T13:53:44.211+08:00Quay Po Cooks, Glad you like this. Pardon my ignorance, but I can't recognise the bean from the picture or the name. What's the chinese name for it?<br />And I also saw dried longan in the dessert, but it's not found in the recipe. Any typo?WendyinKK https://www.blogger.com/profile/08266961453200555850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7417345481024282743.post-69645475791130954542012-06-05T12:14:44.214+08:002012-06-05T12:14:44.214+08:00Oh I love this dessert.
