Though, I have prepared this kind of dish using various recipes, I will still try other recipes.  Each time, it turned out good and tasty.  This one is no exception.  Compared with other earlier recipes, less ingredients are needed for this one which means that you can mix and match the ingredients or make do with whatever you have in hand.
When the mui choy, peanuts and pork pieces are well braised, it's full of flavours and so good to have it with hot porridge or rice.

500-600 gm salty mui choy
200 gm sweet mui choy
200 gm pork belly – cut strips
1/2 bowl peanuts - blanched in boiling water, soaked and drained
1 tbsp chopped garlic
3 tbsp oil
700 ml water [or enough to cover ingredients]
1/2  tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
dash of msg
  1. Rinsed both mui choy well and soaked for 30 minutes. Squeeze them dry and cut thin strips.
  2. Marinate pork belly with 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soy sauce and 1 tsp sesame seed oil.
  3. Saute garlic in oil until fragrant.  Add in the meat pieces, fry for 1 minute before adding the peanuts.  Continue to fry for a further 5 minutes or until the oil oozes out.
  4. Add in the mui choy, stir to mix well, add seasoning.  Fry for another 5 minutes before pour in enough water to cover ingredient.
  5. Bring to boil over high heat, lower heat and leave to braise until vegetables and peanuts are soft.  Add more water if necessary.
  6. Braise for about an hour or until water has reduced.
  7. Dish up to serve with rice or porridge.
